I promise I’m still working! This should be done in a day or two.
I will learn to like my work in colour
Aaaaaand here’s a poster I did awhile back for an upcoming show. For two weeks after I finished my thesis, we had guest workshops, which was a nice break- this was done in a gig poster workshop with this guy, whom you should go follow probably. After many edits, I’m okay with showing it to the internet, so behold.
a seven inch design/ mock up I did for the band Baptists. I don’t know much about them, other than that their music is awesome. This is what became of that druid holy mary ghost sketch a few posts back.
This is something I’ve been working on for a bit, a second pass at my first assignment from last semester. Edgar Allan Poe, bein’ cool. Sorry about the low resolution, I just don’t trust the internet anymore.
Hands up Thomas Hooper, I’m coming for you!
Here’s a portrait/ memorial piece I’m working on of the actress/ princess Grace Kelly. I pulled out images from Monaco’s crest and reassembled them with the portrait to create a semi- tattoo looking vignette. The latin underneath reads “we must die” on the left and “with the help of god” on the right.
also, here’s the updated/edited version of the flyer for my class’s thesis show. changed some colours a bit, and took a second pass at the shading.
more in progress thesis stuff- only a few weeks till it has to be done. fact: you can never use too many guides.
A very informal picture of a new process I’ve been playing with via a really awesome gift-a wood burning tool. it’s basically a little soldering iron with different kinds of drawing nibs. It’s quite fun, but trickier than ink on paper- getting smoke in your eyes doesn’t help the situation much either.
learning, horray!
