Aaaaaand here’s a poster I did awhile back for an upcoming show. For two weeks after I finished my thesis, we had guest workshops, which was a nice break- this was done in a gig poster workshop with this guy, whom you should go follow probably. Here’s a portrait/ memorial piece I’m working on of the actress/ princess Grace Kelly.  I pulled out images from Monaco’s crest and reassembled them with the portrait to create a semi- tattoo looking vignette.The latin underneath reads “we must die” on the left and “with the help of god” on the right.

A very informal picture of a new process I’ve been playing with via a really awesome gift-a wood burning tool. it’s basically a little soldering iron with different kinds of drawing nibs. It’s quite fun, but trickier than ink on paper- getting smoke in your eyes doesn’t help the situation much either. learning, horray!
